PRIVACY POLICY

1. About this policy

This policy explains how Goat Games handles information when you use our Minecraft server, website, Discord verification system, store-linked features, statistics, and leaderboards. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to support@goatgamesmc.com.

2. Linking your accounts

Linking connects your Minecraft account with your Discord account so Goat Games can:

• Synchronise your in-game and Discord identity.
• Automatically apply purchased ranks.
• Process gifts for the correct player.
• Verify account ownership.
• Provide linked-account features across the server and Discord.

3. Information collected during verification

When you complete /verify, we store your Discord user ID, Minecraft UUID, and the date and time your accounts were linked. We use this only for identification, synchronisation, rank purchases, gifting, support, and preventing account-linking abuse.

Discord handles the login process. Goat Games does not receive or store your Discord password, Discord email address, or a permanent Discord access token.

4. In-game statistics

When you participate in Goat Games gamemodes, we may store:

• Your Minecraft UUID and username.
• Wins, kills, deaths, and games played.
• The gamemode connected to those statistics.
• The date and time those statistics were last updated.

We use this information to operate player profiles, rankings, leaderboards, and related server and website features. Your Minecraft username and gameplay statistics may be displayed publicly. Your Discord ID and account-linking information are not displayed as part of these leaderboards.

5. Storage and service providers

Account-linking information and gameplay statistics are stored using secured local databases and Supabase. Hosting and infrastructure providers may process basic technical request information when delivering or protecting the website. Discord processes verification login, and external clip hosts such as Medal process requests when you watch or open their content under their own privacy policies.

We do not sell this information, use it for behavioural advertising, or share it except with providers needed to operate these features, when you direct us to, or when required by law.

6. Payments and subscriptions

All Goat Games checkout, payment processing, billing, taxes, chargebacks, and subscription management are fully managed by Tebex as the payment platform and merchant of record. Goat Games does not directly collect or store your complete card or payment-account details.

Tebex handles the information you provide during checkout under its own terms and privacy policy. Tebex may provide Goat Games with limited order information needed to deliver a purchase, apply a rank, identify the relevant Minecraft account, prevent fraud, or respond to purchase support. Subscriptions can be viewed, changed, renewed, or cancelled through Tebex’s customer payment-history portal or the links in Tebex’s subscription emails.

7. Retention

Account-linking information is retained while your account remains linked or for as long as reasonably needed to provide account services, prevent abuse, and resolve support issues. Gameplay statistics may be retained while Goat Games operates its statistics and leaderboard services. Where appropriate, we may anonymise historical leaderboard records instead of deleting them.

8. Your choices and rights

You may request access, correction, unlinking, deletion, or anonymisation by emailing support@goatgamesmc.com. We may need to verify that you control the relevant Minecraft or Discord account before completing a request.

Removing your account link stops linked-account features but may not automatically delete independently collected gameplay statistics. You can request deletion or anonymisation of those statistics separately. Requests concerning information controlled by Tebex should be made to Tebex. Legal rights available where you live continue to apply.

9. Security and children

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no online storage or transmission method is completely secure. If you believe your information or linked account has been compromised, contact support promptly. If a parent or guardian believes a child has provided information improperly, they may contact us to request review and deletion.

10. Acknowledgement and updates

By completing /verify, you request that your Minecraft and Discord accounts be linked and acknowledge this notice. By playing Goat Games gamemodes, you acknowledge that the gameplay statistics described above may be recorded and publicly displayed.

We may update this policy when our services or practices change. The effective date above will be updated when changes are published.
